Another significant scientific achievement at our Institute!
A research work co-authored by our institute’s scientists — Professor N.R. Ashurov and 3rd-year PhD researcher Z.N. Julliyev — has been published in the prestigious high–impact factor journal Nature Communications (IF = 17). 🔗 Article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-025-65484-7
🔬 The study investigates the role of additives influencing the crystallization of perovskite materials. According to the results:
-
crystallization additives do not affect the nucleation stage,
-
instead, they improve film quality by accelerating ion migration along grain boundaries during perovskite grain growth.
📌 This breakthrough represents an important step in advancing high-efficiency perovskite solar cell technologies. The research provides a solid scientific foundation for materials engineering and post-processing treatments of perovskites.
We congratulate our institute’s team, Professor N.R. Ashurov and PhD researcher Z.N. Julliyev, on this remarkable achievement!
