The main tasks of the Institute of Chemical Physics and Problems of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan: - development and deepening of research in the field of nanochemistry, nanophysics, nanotechnology of high-molecular compounds; - fundamental and applied research of natural and synthetic polymers, nanocomposite materials; - creation of alternative third-generation energy sources on a polymer basis; - creation and implementation in the sectors of the economy of domestic polymer preparations and materials.
Research areas of the Institute: - fundamental and applied research of natural and synthetic polymers, nanocomposite materials; - synthesis and study of biologically active synthetic and natural polymers and their derivatives and creation on their basis of highly effective technologies and preparations for medicine, veterinary science and agriculture; - research of the kinetics and mechanism of chemical modification of polymers; - conducting in-depth research in the field of nanocomposite polymer materials in the interests of meeting the needs of various sectors of the economy and the national economy of Uzbekistan. - creation of alternative third-generation energy sources on a polymer basis; - development of new and improvement of existing technologies for the synthesis and processing of synthetic and natural polymers, including nanopolymers.
Nanostructured Composite Polymer Materials Laboratory
The topics of the projects implemented at the expense of basic funding sources are carried out in two directions: Section I: "Fundamental research on energy conversion processes in nanohybrid, polymer structures based on alternative energy sources, perovskites and polyconjugated polymers", Section II: "Nanocomposite polymer-polymer blend materials based on polyolefins produced in Uzbekistan (focused on fundamental goals)"
