Laboratory of Synthesis of Promising Polymers

Laboratory of Synthesis of Promising Polymers

Laboratory of Synthesis of Promising Polymers

In 1990, under the leadership of Academician Rashidova S.Sh., the Laboratory of Synthesis of Promising Polymers was established. The laboratory conducts research aimed at creating scientific foundations for the synthesis and modification of biologically active, natural polymers, and studying the structural properties of water-soluble polymers and mixtures using a complex of physicochemical methods.

This allows obtaining information about their molecular structure and supramolecular structure depending on various factors, as well as offering them for medicine, agro-industrial complex, as well as pharmacology, biotechnology, etc. (PhD Milusheva R.Yu., Ph.D Akhimbetova G.D., Ph.D Avazova O.B., PhD Pirniyazov Q.Q., PhD Rakhmanova V.N., PhD Bekchanov I.K., etc.). The laboratory successfully conducts scientific research on the creation of polymer preparative forms of chemical plant protection products, the study of the interaction of polymers with living organisms, the mechanisms of biological action of polymers on seeds and promising scientific directions for regulating this interaction. Creation of new generation nanostructured polymer preparations based on local polymers, natural polysaccharides and their derivatives from plant raw materials and their application in various sectors of the national economy.

Scientific direction: 1. A waste-free integrated technology for the production of chitin, chitosan and protein by processing silk industry waste was developed. 2. Water-soluble derivatives of chitosan: sulfate, ascorbate, citrate and carboxymethyl chitosan were synthesized. 3. The extraction of chitin and chitosan from a new regional source of raw materials - Aral Sea cysts - was mastered. 4. An environmentally friendly technology for pre-sowing seed treatment of agricultural crops (cotton, wheat, rice, corn, vegetables and melons) using the local treatment agent UZXITAN, which has a stimulating effect, has been developed. 5. A technology for obtaining a preparation based on protein and chitosan Bombyx mori for fish farming has been developed. 6. A technology for the production of the preparations and preparative forms of "Askorhit" and "Nanoaskorhit", registered with the Plant Protection and Quarantine Agency, has been created.
