Meeting with the Korea Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT)

   The international project “Biomass-based composite fibers for non-woven fabric with electromagnetic interference shielding”, presented in collaboration with scientists from the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics (PKFI) and the Korea Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), was declared the winner in the competition announced by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). In order to implement this project and develop mutual cooperation, on October 17, 2024, a group of Korean scientists led by KRICT Vice President Youngmin Choi visited the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics. During the visit, the project co-leaders (Prof. Atakhanov A.A. and Prof. Saewon Kang) presented the scientific work plan expected to be carried out in the project. During the visit, Korean colleagues were also informed about the scientific research conducted at the Institute and the capabilities of the Institute, and were introduced to the activities of scientific laboratories. Areas of new joint projects to be carried out in the future in collaboration with KRICT scientists were discussed.
