Institute employees participated in tactical training exercises

In November 2024, employees of the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in tactical training exercises on civil protection with the participation of a representative of the Emergency Situations Department (FVB) of the Shaykhontohur district of Tashkent. These exercises were organized to increase the readiness of employees for emergency situations.

During the exercises, the FVB representative gave detailed explanations to the employees on the correct and prompt procedures for action in earthquakes, fires, floods, evacuations and other emergency situations. Each employee was taught practical skills in choosing safe routes, evacuating, asking for help and performing other necessary actions in emergency situations.

Also, special situations were created for employees, allowing them to test their emergency preparedness in “real” conditions. During the training, all participants practiced tasks that needed to be solved immediately, such as quick evacuation in case of fire danger, moving to safe places during earthquakes.

Tactical training provided valuable experience for employees, which will allow them to work together and effectively in emergency situations in the future. During the training, the employees of the institute strengthened their cooperation and learned how to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. Such training, of course, not only increases the readiness of employees for emergency situations, but also plays an important role in ensuring the safety of the entire working group.

Through the training, employees not only developed the skills of ensuring safety in emergency situations, but also of making collective decisions when working with others.
