Scientific Visit to Firat University, Turkey
From December 1 to 8 of the current year, within the framework of the Uzbekistan-Turkey international bilateral cooperation applied project AL-7523011028 titled “Development of Highly Efficient Monolithic and Microstructured Sandwich-Form Thermoplastic Polymer Composites for Electromagnetic Protection,” senior researchers of the NKPM Laboratory of the Institute of Applied Physics, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences—Project Leader, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Senior Researcher Elshod Olmosovich Haqberdiyev, and Project Contributor, PhD in Physics and Mathematics Qodirbek Nuridin o‘g‘li Berdinazarov—conducted a scientific visit to Firat University in Turkey.
The visit was organized at the scientific laboratory located in the Faculty of Engineering at Firat University, under the supervision of the Turkish project coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Hülya Kaftelen Odabaşı, and project contributor Dr. Akın Odabaşı. During the visit, scientific partners discussed completed and future planned research activities and participated in experiments, including the development of composites based on thermoplastic polyurethane/nanofillers and the synthesis of silver nanowires.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Rector of Firat University, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, and Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum for future collaboration between the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and Firat University, as well as familiarized themselves with the prospects for further implementation of the bilateral international joint project.
