Laboratory of Theoretical Foundations of Polymers Chemistry and Physics
In one of the priority fundamental directions of the institute, which is polymer physics, the scientific search of scientists was concentrated on the study and establishment of a number of theoretical patterns of synthesis and properties of conductive polymers with special properties, computer modeling of the dependence of polymer properties on molecular parameters. The main scientific concerns current problems in the field of quantitative structure-property relationships, polymer nanostructures and nanocomposites studied by synergetic approaches, in connection with this, in 1996, the Laboratory of Theoretical Foundations of Chemistry and Physics of Polymers was organized. Theoretical development of fundamental models for the properties of polymer systems and nanopolymers. Construction of computer models to simulate polymer systems and analyze their interactions and properties.
