The Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a permanent collegial advisory body established on the basis of the charter of the Council of Young Scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Young scientists under 40 years of age , aimed at helping to effectively realize the creative potential of graduate students and specialists, looking for new ways to solve organizational scientific and technical problems, as well as expressing the interests of scientific youth in the field of profession and solving important social problems.
The main goal of YOK activities is to protect the scientific and creative interests of young scientists, to increase the professional growth of young scientists and experts and to increase their activity in public work, to unite in finding solutions to scientific problems that are urgent for YOK, to develop the innovative activities of young scientists, to popularize their scientific results and attracting young people to scientific research.
The main directions of YOK activity:
 attracting young scientists to active participation in scientific and public works, scientific and scientific-methodical activities;
 organizing and holding conferences, roundtables and scientific seminars to discuss current scientific problems of the Republic, foreign and international level involving a wide range of young scientists;
 Organization of mutual conversations of young scientists in foreign languages ​​on "Wednesday" of the week in the territory of the institute;
 Organization of meetings with advanced scientists, practitioners and manufacturers of the Republic and abroad;
 organization of publication of scientific articles and theses of young scientists in national and international (Scopus, web of science) scientific journals, collections and other publications;
 ensuring the exchange of information about the main directions and results of the scientific and pedagogical activities of young scientists in the field of chemistry and biology of polymers;
 Coverage of the scientific developments of the Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the mass media;
 Organization of scientific lectures in Uzbek, English, and Russian languages ​​by interlaboratory young scientists at the Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. (dissertation, obtained results, scientific article, report, internship result, etc.)
 Organizing mutual conversations of young scientists in foreign languages ​​on "Wednesday" of the week on the territory of the institute.
 Ensuring the active participation of young scientists in holding and organizing republican holidays with the public of the institute (Navruz, March 8, Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Teacher's Day, New Year's holiday and a challenge video for state symbols create);
 introducing a mechanism of exchange of experience aimed at solving problems related to scientific activity in the field of chemistry and biology of polymers;
 attraction of material resources (national and foreign grants, sponsorship support) in order to support the activities of young scientists (service trips, participation in conferences, publication of articles, etc.);
 disseminating information about educational and research projects related to the directions of scientific research of young scientists;
 widely promoting the results of scientific research of young scientists in the field of chemistry and biology of polymers and putting them into practice in various fields of industry;
 Establishing the activity of "Discussion Club" to unite young people engaged in scientific research and creativity under the Council of Young Scientists;
 Development of the "Master-Apprentice" system;
 Ensuring participation in the scientific-theoretical conference "21st century - the century of intellectual youth" with lectures every year;
 At the end of the year, organization of the competition for the "Best Article" nomination of young scientists working in the Institute.
 Organization and selection of the "Best Young Scientist" competition at the Institute level;
- supporting the scientific activities of young female scientists.
